The presence of the Toyota Sienta is increasingly attractive to this Japanese manufacturer.
This car is sure to have a very powerful performance that is supported by various advanced features and is ready to optimize comfort when used for driving every day.

Toyota Sienta turns out to have two engine variants, namely gasoline and hybrid. Where there is a 1.5 liter engine with VVT technology and has 4 cylinders. As for the hybrid version, a large-powered electric motor will be added which makes it more environmentally friendly and fuel efficient. Of course, these two machines can greatly affect the price of the Toyota Sienta when it is marketed in Indonesia. The interesting thing about this Toyota Sienta is that there are 3 rows of seats that can be adjusted to the needs of the luggage.

The Toyota Sienta is marketed with a choice of standard and hybrid engines. Now for this standard version, it uses the L4 DOHC 16-valve VVT-iE engine which has a cylinder capacity of 1,496 cc. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 109 PS at 6,000 rpm and 136 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The engine is classified as powerful, and certainly very fuel efficient. The reason for this engine is only needed one liter to cover a distance of 20.2 km. For transmission, this 7-person MPV car uses the Super CVT-i transmission system.

For the hybrid version, both adopt the L4 DOHC 16-valve VVT-i engine equipped with the engine start stop feature. However, the cylinder capacity of the Toyota Sienta Hybrid is larger, which is 1,497cc. As for power, it can reach 74 PS at 4,800 rpm and torque of 111 Nm at 4,400 rpm. The price of the Toyota Sienta Hybrid is certainly more expensive, because it is more fuel efficient on gasoline. Where it only takes liters of gasoline to cover a distance of 27.9 km. Then for the transmission using Electronically Controlled CVT technology, and equipped with an electric motor with Synchronous Alternating Current Motor technology.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6887230357016716324.post-4561563475476245312021-11-26T03:59:00.003-08:002023-07-22T21:11:52.971-07:00Hamann Victory II

Base on the first Lamborghini Gallardo, Hamann has unveiled new super sports car it’s Hamann Victory II. Nissan Pathfinder will continue to be one of the few mid-priced, mid-seven-seat SUV, which is a good faith. No poseur car, the Pathfinder back to a period, ie 1990, when families bought truck-based SUVs for their characters in the rough and low. Especially in contrast to the “soccer mom” minivans image “Americans have embraced the idea of walking in rugged vehicles that were built to traverse the toughest trails and large tow boats or trailers, whether or not always used for these purposes.

Most SUV buyers have since moved to be car-based crossovers for your ride more enjoyable and quality of treatment and fuel economy, in general, the better. Pathfinder continue to be a setback, but that depends on time courtesy of many of the latest in entertainment and information, and is reasonably well educated, thanks to a four-wheel independent suspension.

Nissan Pathfinder Mechanical

Do not expect an engine change for the Nissan Pathfinder. That means a 4.0-liter V-6 will remain standard across the lineup and should be back to deliver 266 horsepower and a hefty 288 pounds-feet of torque for quick release and safe passage road skills. This V-6 also provides an impressive maximum Pathfinder tow rating of 6,000 pounds, which is enough for everyone, but you need really heavy. The Pathfinder will continue to be one of the only mid-priced SUVs midsize to offer a V-8 engine. Offered in the top LE model, this should return 5.6 liters to generate 310 horsepower and a generous 388 pounds-feet of torque, its maximum towing rating is 7,000 pounds. The only transmission Pathfinder will continue to be a five-speed automatic that performs admirably, although not as good as it would be a six-speed gearbox more modern. Rear Wheel Drive, will remain the default setting for the Pathfinder S, SV, Silver Edition, and LE V-6 models. Four wheel drive (4WD) will again be the standard for the Pathfinder LE V-8 model.

Nissan pathfinder Features

Nissan Pathfinder SUV will continue to be very luxurious and cozy, the average price in the crisis and effect between the young automaker, SUV Xterra SUV and the luxury crossover FX its Infiniti luxury division. Do not wait for Pathfinder alter the levels of equipment. This means that features like power windows with front auto-up/down, power locks with remote keyless entry, cruise control, tilt steering wheel and a pattern will continue across the board. Also likely to be included are side-curtain bags that protect the lateral head of the pilots’ in all three rows of seats in side impact or when sensors detect an impending rollover. Both seats fold flat second and third with the second-row 40/20/40 split fold-down a basis for flexible cargo and passengers, available folding front passenger seat up front can help to accommodate more items.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6887230357016716324.post-26235320934638656522021-07-09T07:42:00.003-07:002023-07-22T21:12:18.266-07:00Cool or Classy, Stylish or Comfortable - Choosing A Vehicle of Your Own

Superb performance and stylish designs, Ford vehicles fit the description well! It may be small, but it can give just as much enjoyment as much faster and bigger sports cars.

And it handles really well the hallmark of a real sports car. To tell the truth, I wasn't going to include the MX-5 in Fast-Cars. But then I drove one briefly round a test track, and I enjoyed it so much I knew you would want to know about it even though the car has been around for about 14 years. It had a major rework some years ago, but is as fresh today as it was then and it's great value. So here it is.

Classic layout gives good steering and handling

Like the Lotus Elan, lots of sports cars of yesteryear, the Ferrari 575M, Honda S-2000 and all TVRs it has the classic layout of a powerful engine slung low just behind the front axle in a low two-seater body which is quite light. Of course, it is a convertible and is low, which helps improve cornering and top speed.

The suspension is also similar to the best sports and racing cars it has double wishbones front and rear to give good wheel geometry. Basically, that means keeping the wheels upright without any sudden changes in track or toe-in. An unusual feature is the light backbone frame that connects the engine to the rear axle, so all the mechanical units are as one.

Low center of gravity

With the hood up the MX-5 Miata is only 48 in high that's 2 in lower than the Porsche Boxster, which is mid-engined, and the Mercedes-Benz SLK. When you sit in this car you are near to the ground, but still have an excellent view of the road ahead over the hood and fenders, which helps you aim the car.

The original MX-5 was modelled on the Lotus Elan. But it was a truly international project with Japanese, American and British teams being involved, and the first prototype was built in England. The pop-up headlamps, pioneered by Lotus, and quite common in the 70s and 80s, were replaced by low conventional headlamps when the car was rebodied in 1989.

Great looks in a classic style

Undoubtedly the current MX-5 is a great-looking car with sweeping fenders and low grille, and a little turn-up at the back to reduce lift. When you jump in, you're not disappointed either. The wheel is just about where you'd like it it doesn't adjust as the whole point of the MX-5 is to keep it simple. The instruments are clear and as easy to read as any you'll find they'll black on cream. In the dark, they become red on cream, and when lit up at dusk are actually less easy to see than in daylight.

Civilized till you hit 5,000 rpm

As you'd expect from a Mazda, it is very quiet and civilized at low speed, and the clutch has a smooth take up. I drove the 1.8i Sport, which gets Bilstein dampers and a limited slip diff to improve performance. This latest 1.8 liter model has 146 bhp on tap at 7,000 rpm and a six-speed gearbox which seems like a good idea at first, since it gives you a good set of close ratios. Also, the stubby little lever is so short it only just sticks out the tunnel, promising short shift movement.

You get a pair of bucket seats, and I found I could get myself really comfortable. The weather when I had the car was typical of autumn (fall) with cool days and a bit of rain. There is a heated rear window, but don't expect it to dry off any rain that settles on the glass, although it does a good job of clearing mist.

Quiet and lazy or eager and exciting

How does it drive? You need to work the engine to move along; it generates its power at 5,000 7,000 rpm. At lower speeds you make reasonable progress, but not fast, and it will soon lose speed up a motorway gradient. On the other hand, the engine is beautifully quiet until you let her rip, when you're rewarded by a howl as the engine gets to 5,000 rpm and then shoots up to 7,000 rpm. This is a marvellous engine; none of that running out of breath you get with some engines. It's like a young terrier straining at the leash, even at 7,000 rpm just wanting to give you more revs.

Not quite full marks for the six-speed box

Most of the time the gearbox is a delight. The shifts are short and quick up to fourth. These are the gears you want when you're hurrying. It's not so much fun going from fourth to fifth, or from third to fifth. The problem here is that reverse is beyond the fifth-sixth gate and has a fairly weak spring to prevent it going across to the gate.

When you're driving at moderate speeds, this is no problem as you can move the lever across and find the right slot. But just when you need to flick quickly up to fifth is the time when you find you've gone too far and have to go stirring around to find the slot you want.

Shifts in the opposite direction are just fine, smooth and slick. I found that sixth was useful only on motorways or very fast straight roads, and that otherwise it was best not to use anything higher than fifth. Mind you, if you're just tooling along in traffic, the engine will run very smoothly at low speeds in sixth. But basically it's for the motorway or expressway.

Well spaced pedals

The pedals are nicely spaced, and as you'd expect on a self-respecting sports car, you can heel-and-toe, which is not such a useless skill as you might think. When you shift down from fifth to third or third to second coming into a corner, a little heeling-and-toeing gives a smoother shift.

'Well-matched' sums up the engine and gearbox and delightful with it. Needless to say I spent little time on motorways and the like, because the wind noise is pretty high, and with that soft top you hear all the noise of the trucks you're overtaking. I did drive with a hood down for some of the time, but it was getting a bit cold for that!

Great to drive on the byways and highways

Anyway, once you head for the some of the great roads we use for testing, the Mazda MX-5 comes into its own! Pure joy. Over roads with sweeping bends, the odd sharp brow, and some slower corners the car just goes where pointed. And it turns in straightaway none of this waiting for the steering to haul that heavy front-end round that you get with front-drive or front-heavy cars.

You turn the wheel a few degrees and instantly you are turning into the corner. It follows the line brilliantly, and can be threaded through s-bends as quick as many a faster car because it is compact and steers so well. The steering is well weighted, and gives plenty of feedback of what is happening.

The test car was shod with Bridgestone Torunza 205/45R tires on 16 in wheels, and they grip very well in the dry but are perhaps not quite as progressive as some other tires in the wet.

Handling with safe and easy-to-correct over steer

How does she handle? In almost all conditions, she just steers round corners with neutral handling. Go into a long slow corner, such as one of our roundabouts, and you can feel the under steer build up. Flick the wheel a little toward the apex, and you can kill the under steer, and power your way out. When you press harder on slow corners, though, you can feel that you're going from neutral to over steer as the back end wants to move out.

Go faster into that corner, and the back end does lose grip, but is easily corrected and brought back into line with a bit of corrective lock. I didn't find myself over correcting the car just came into line and accelerated out of the corner as if that's what I'd intended. Well, it was more or less, but I was surprised how responsive it was. Definitely a well-balanced sporty two-seater, with handling to give you some huge fun. A car to smile about and with.

Head for the byways

Mind, it isn't the car I'd choose if my driving involved a lot of journeys along fast motorways or autobahns. It is just too noisy. The ride is not that bad on most surfaces, but is not good on ripply surfaces. When you get into your Miata or MX-5 just head for the byways and old roads and you'll have much more fun, and get there surprisingly quickly and safely.

This is still a reasonably light car at 2,423 lb, but like most car suffers a little from middle-age spread eating too many extra fatty 'features'. In 1990 the car weighed just 2,100 lb. The engine was smaller then, and there weren't so many refinements, but a weight reduction of 300 lb would make quite a difference to the acceleration.

You might think the answer would be to put in a V-6 200 bhp engine. The result would be too much weight on the nose, destroying the super balance of the car. And of course, everything would have to be bigger to take the extra power.

No, this car is best as it is a great little car, with good performance, which you can use safely on ordinary roads.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6887230357016716324.post-74407118144483750962021-03-14T03:37:00.044-07:002023-07-22T21:12:35.103-07:00Porsche GT3, More Power From 3.6 Liter Engine

With 415 bhp, the new Porsche 911 GT3, is a terrific performer - the fastest 3.6 liter car around, says Porsche. Like previous GT3s, the new model is meant to be equally as home on the track and on the road, and has been honed to become a top performer. In fact, there are GT3 racing classes in several countries. The new car is based on the based on the 997 version of the 911, and promises to be a very exciting car.

Despite its track day ability, the Porsche 911 GT3 makes a very impressive road car, the extra power taking the car to 60 mph in about 4.2 seconds, and to 100 mph in 8.7 seconds, which is 0.7 seconds faster than the old model and that is a lot. Top speed is up slightly at 194 mph.

Distinctive body, but very much a Porsche 911

As usual, Porsche GT3 has some distinctive mods to the body to make it look the part while improving cooling and aerodynamics. At the front the hood is shortened to leave an extra slot so that air leaving the radiators exhausts over the hood. There are five air intakes beneath the bumper.

The sides are unchanged, but at the rear a large wing as well as a built-in spoiler increase down force, while a pair or vents low down at the rear get hot air away. Altogether a great looking car, like the current 911 Carrera with a more than a hint of the power available.

But what really sets the new GT3 apart is the superb new engine: 3.6 liter not the 3.8 liter from the 911 Carrera S. The 3.6 liter continues as the basis for Porsche GT3 because this is a capacity limit for both FIA GT and American Le Mans Series racing.

Porsche GT3 New engine, based on 3.6 liter sports-racer

This new boxer engine, developed from the old GT3 rather than the 911 Carrera develops 415 bhp at 7,600 rpm, and is redlined at 8,400 rpm. Maximum torque is 284 lb ft (385 Nm) at 5,500 rpm. That power output is 115 bhp per liter, which compares favourably with most high-performance engines, exceeding the 112 bhp per liter of the Ferrari V-8 in the F430.

This is a terrific, free-revving engine, with plenty of power from about 4,500 to 8,000 rpm. This extra power comes from changes to the cylinder heads, intake and exhaust system, including a larger air intake and throttle valve.

Stiff structure, lighter moving parts

To get the engine to rev faster to liberate extra power reliably, Porsche engineers needed to fall back on their racing experience. The engine construction differs from that of the 911 Carrera in that the cylinder heads and cylinders for each bank are in one unit, forming a rigid sandwich construction.

A lot of effort went into reducing the weight of critical moving parts such as the crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons. The counterweights of the eight-bearing crankshaft have been lightened, which reduces 1.3 lb (600 grams) of weight.

Then, the titanium connecting rods are narrower and slightly longer, and each is 5 oz (150 grams) lighter than a steel one. Also changed are the forged aluminum pistons, which are carried on piston pins of smaller diameter. These changes have a critical effect on the ability of the engine to rev faster and produce so much power.

Porsche GT3 Three-stage air intake system

To maintain good power at low and medium speeds, Porsche has adopted a three-stage variable length intake manifold system one length for speeds up to 5,400 rpm, another for 5,400-6350 rpm, and the third for higher speeds. Most makers of high-performance engines have two-stage intake manifolds.

A new exhaust system, with pre-mufflers and the main muffler has been designed to reduce resistance. What’s more, when accelerating hard, the pre-mufflers are bypassed to improve the noise the driver hears all legal, of course.

Typical attention to detail

Balancing these improvements, the ratios of the six-speed manual gearbox have been altered. All the ratios except first having been lowered slightly so that the full rev range is available at lower speeds.

To get the power on to the road, Porsche GT3 comes with 19-inch wheels and a traction control system as well as a limited slip differential. Ultra low profile tires are used 235/35s at the front and 305/30s at the rear.

This traction control system is developed from the Carrera GT high-performance supercar and features traction-slip and drag-torque control functions, offering the driver a new combination of control and safety. It can be switched off if required.

Further, Porsche GT3 gets a modified version of the PASM system used on the 911 Carrera. This system provides active damping, and when set to sport mode, the damping is quite a bit stiffer than normal ideal for track days.

As standard, the springs and dampers are firmer than on the 911 Carrera, and give the owner some adjustment in the ride height, which is already lower than the other models. The front camber can be adjusted for track driving.

At the rear, control is improved with the replacement of the rubber bushes on the trailing arms with metal joints, and as at the front the tubular anti-roll bar is adjustable.

Ceramic brakes still an option

As standard, the Porsche GT3 gets with 13.78 in (350 mm) diameter cast iron discs front and rear. However, 6-pot front brake calipers are used at the front, and 4-pot calipers at the rear. Porsche’s ceramic discs are an option, now improved with improved internal cooling ducts. The front ceramic discs are 15 in (380 mm) diameter. Apart from much improved braking at high speeds, the ceramic discs reduce un-sprung weight by 44 lb (20 kg) a set.

Overall, the 997 version of the Porsche 911 GT3 takes the model to new heights, with a fabulous engine built with love and care. Thanks to the other attention to detail, drag is low, but down force high, while the weight has been kept down to 3,076 lb, (1,395 kg) - less than 100 lb (45 kg) more than the previous GT3.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6887230357016716324.post-49537970893674278282021-03-08T22:41:00.003-08:002023-07-22T21:12:53.186-07:00 More Engine Power, Better Fuel Mileage

Not everyone understands this but an increase in horsepower can often translate into improved fuel economy. Many of the cars coming out will reflect this trend, but you don’t have to buy a new ride in order to see improvements. We’ve got four ideas for improving power without hurting fuel economy so please keep reading to discover technology options available to you.

Hybrid car lovers are in the limelight thanks to cars that do an excellent job of managing fuel. Unfortunately, not every model has the corresponding power, stealing the fun away from driving. Even with gas prices at $4 and above, some of us still want to enjoy our rides.

Four Power Parts That Are Sure To Please

Power chips and programmers. Whether you replace your car’s computer chip or enhance it with a power programmer, in either case you can achieve significant gains in horsepower and thrust. By overriding the factory limitations imposed on your ride you can get more power for a small investment.

Reusable air filters. Now this is a part that the environmentalists love: air filters which can be used over and over again. That’s right, no need for you to contribute waste to overflowing landfills by adding in paper filters once a year. Instead, air filters built for race cars can be put in your car and reused. Your engine breaths better and a better breathing engine eats less fuel. And that means your fuel economy improves!

Cold air intakes. That low growling noise coming from underneath your hood is your engine telling you that it loves its new air intake. Engineered to suck up colder, denser air a cold air intake delivers the “food” that your engine wants. Again, just like the other parts mentioned, your engine runs smoother and fuel economy increases. What is the best part? A cold air intake is an awesome looking addition to your engine bay a show stopper next time you put your car out on display.

Performance exhausts. Yes, your stock exhaust system just doesn’t do what it should do. To begin, it works against your engine and not with it. More accurately, power flow is inhibited and your engine works harder and sucks up more gas in the process. With those wider pipes found in a performance exhaust system you can gain more horsepower, realize greater torque, and see your fuel economy rise as your engine and exhaust work in complete unity.

Go With Performance Parts

Some of the parts and gadgets available through your local auto parts store are adequate for your car’s needs, but they do nothing to help boost power. Performance parts, on the other hand, are specifically engineered to maximize power and can improve fuel economy. No, I’m not going to recommend specific brands, rather I encourage you to do some research to find out which products work best with your make or model of your car.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6887230357016716324.post-3741501953148820822021-03-02T01:09:00.007-08:002023-07-22T21:13:48.931-07:00 How to Choose the Right Car?

Buy a car, with the number of models and equipment options and motorization that exist in the market, are becoming a more complicated task.
